FAQ's
How much heat does the AGA generate?
An AGA gives off as much warmth to the kitchen as 12-100 watt light bulbs. An AGA is warm to the touch and is safe for children to be around. The specific output of the AGA is around 3500 BTU’s per hour and can be factored in to the heating and cooling requirements of the kitchen. The warmth of an AGA helps make your kitchen the heart of the your home.
What do I need to know about the installation of my AGA cooker?
In most cases our AGA installer will do a pre-visit to the site of the new cooker and discuss with you the specific installation requirements.
We will leave the “site requirement manual” with you and we will work closely with your architect and or contractor to guarantee a successful AGA experience.
Is there a need for a vent hood above the AGA?
It depends greatly on your cooking style but since a lot of the cooking goes on in the ovens, a hood is not really needed. If a gas hob is incorporated in your AGA, local regulations will most likely stipulate that a vent hood needs to be installed.
